Missionary Monday

Jordy had dinner with a family who own a pig farm. He had his first HAMburger. Made from fresh pork. Can you say culture shock. His favorite food is sausage so I'm sure he liked it.

When I was in 2nd-4th grades I lived in Salem, CT and was best friends with a girl whose family owned a pig farm. They had a giant pig roast every year and every time I ate over we would eat...PIG!

Yeah, sounds about right. Culture shock, I'm all about that.

I really wouldn't have expected 'culture shock' from a mission in the states. (Glad you're still posting even though you're out of town)

Previous post attempt didn't make sense. I'm sure this won't be the ONLY culture shock he'll experience!

Have I ever told you about a friend of mine who has a blog JUST for her missionary? It's great because it's photos, stories, and current addresses.........
