At 5:41 this morning I was woken up by a phone call from Elder Naylor. He called from the Salt Lake City airport. He's on his way to Idaho. He sounded happy and cute. Is it possible to sound cute? I gave him a hug and kiss over the phone. Look out Idaho! Only five more months til I hear his sweet voice again...

I bet that "Uh huh." never sounded so good!!
Where in Idaho? I AM IN IDAHO! Wouldn't it be great if I met your son!? there are only about 1,000,000 people who live here so it could happen. And in the tiny place I am there are only about 100 people.
He called! That's so great. Countdown till Christmas!
missionary phone calls are the best! if only they could call on birthdays... and father's day... and president's day... and easter...
ps- your mandal rant made me laugh :)

What a great great way to start off your day...I'm so happy for you!
I'll be keeping your missionary in my thoughts and prayers too!
Ditto on the mandals!
okay. i'm the biggest idiot ever. EVER.
it's weird when you don't really know someone's last name. so i've just been calling him elder jordy. but now i get it.
IT'S YOUR SON.
i must have missed to post about where he got his mission call. so maybe you could just tell me that much, although i'm assuming it's somewhere in idaho. which mission is it???
I am so excited that he is going to my hometown mission! I really hope he comes to La Grande so that we can have him over all the time! Maybe we'll even help him find some converts!
Boise baby!
Those phone calls from missionaries are SO special. Even at 5:41 AM! What a great way to start the day!
Ah, I felt Boise's righteousness increase ten fold upon your son's arrival.
Let me know if he ever comes out to Meridian or if you need me to deliver some kind of goodie for him.
wow - that was fast.. am I retarded that I thought he would be in the MTC a little longer? Christmas, Christmas, christmas (chanting for you)
