I'm so dizzy!

I have a freaky, fainting thing called neurocardiogenic syncope. If you know the Wiggles, it's the same thing Greg Page has that caused him to retire. I faint so often that my kids just step over me when they see me laying there. So, today was one of those dizzy days. I ended up on the floor in Sunday school. I wish I had my camera. It was not a full blackout just a grey out. I like to shake things up in Sunday school. Luckily, my friend Tauna was there to make sure I didn't flash anyone with my dress flying up and she even fixed my hair when I got up. She's a good friend. I was that lady who made church exciting today.
Church makes me sick. Those tiny tiles in the bathroom make me dizzy. Then the whole no food for three hours. I do bring snacks. I'm probably the only person you know who's on a high sodium diet. The fainting thing is boring but, it rocks my world, literally.

Hey, If you going to faint you might as well look good while doing it!

Scary! I hope you feel better soon!!

Doesn't that mean you don't have to go to church now? I think I'd be using that excuse to get out of more than a few meetings.

Wait, maybe I will. Tell me what you have again so I can fake it.

Looks like Greg "Wiggle" can be co founder of the disease of the month club!

I'm so glad you can laugh at it (sort of), that has got to just suck to have something you have no control over!

Oh Diane thats awful I knew you had that but you story just put it all in perspective. Your poor lady. That is not fun at all... And I knew the wiggles guy retired thats when we stoped watching it but I had no idea it was cause of that.

how wierd that i had a dizzy day last week too?? those days are the worst- especially because i have to leave ethan in the crib most of the day for fear that i will drop and/or fall on him. hope that you are feeling better and that the spinning has stopped!

That must make life very interesting! (or, at the very least, unpredictable!) Can you feel it coming on?? Can you drive?? I must be really insensitive because I want to hear more! Most embarrassing place/time/etc...fill me in! I wish you were in my SS class!

At least you know you are surrounded by people who love you.

Liz, I can sometimes feel it coming on, thus the grey outs. I try to get down before I fall down. Driving, don't ask, don't tell. I'm beyond being embarassed about it but, the grossest place was also the funniest place...bathroom floor at church. You really don't want to lay on a public bathroom floor. I was found by a class of 3 year olds who were not alarmed at all. They were more interested in showing me the paint on their hands for a handprint project. I kept asking them to get their teacher. She eventually came to see what was distracting them.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this, but it does make for great blog material. Your posts are always so fun to read, and so creative. Real life is much more incredible than fiction.

You have the best attitude ever! I am sorry that you have to deal with such a frustrating disease. You handle it beautifully. I am sure you looked graceful, like Grace Kelly!!

How did I miss that Diane?! You have such a great attitude about life. I'm glad Tauna was there to pick you up!

this may sound dumb, but when you faint, do you hit the ground? I mean, that would really really hurt to just fall straight on the ground, right?

At least you aren't the lady with the flappy arms.

You and I can sit on the back row and eat together.

Church occasinally makes me sick too. (Tee hee!) But for different reasons. I'm just happy to be pregnant so I have an excuse to haul in a three hour buffet for myself. And a guilt free fast sunday.

Fainting is not good. I fainted once in a hospital and it caused a ruckus!! If I ever see you getting dizzy I will try to help.

Holy Cow!! You're so blase about the whole thing. That's major stuff.

(and I kind of wish I was in your church with you. Our Gosp Doct teacher is kind of boring.)
