I'll call you "Mrs. Ironman" when I see you in one of those black wet suits.GO TOM!!!
Wow! that is impressive! good for him. i am proud to say that i did run a full marathon back in my single days. best thing i ever did.
Dear Mrs. Ironman,Your husband is amazing. 112 mile bike ride!!??RobinPS. I am so glad you are posting again. I missed you!
Diane - Tom is insane! I wish i could do that! I have seen him at the lake many a time and as I was running it one time around (which is a lot) Tom would pass me like two -three times. He must have run around the lake three times for my one time around! He is amazing! I love how you are taking on the Mrs. Ironman title simply by being married to mr. ironman himself! Go Diane!
I like being married to a superfit guy too...hopefully his awesome bod makes up for all the chocolate chips I sneak into my mouth!
Absolutely amazing! Please tell the Ironman "CONGRATULATIONS!!!" I am pleased to have Mrs. Ironman as a blogging buddy!
Oh My gosh Tom your simply amamzing. Seriously I am so proud of you and so jealous that you are accomplishing all this. Definitely and Iron man. You have one amazing hubby Diane....
Wow, that is awesome. I think you deserve to be called Mrs. Ironman for being so patient with all his training!
WOW!!! I used to say that I wanted to do an Iron man before I turned 40. I shouldn't have said that. I'm only 6 years away from that. I'm doing my first sprint distance triathlon on Saturday and I'm afraid it's going to kick my butt. Maybe I'll say I'll do an Olympic distance by then...yeah...that sounds better.Oh, and don't let anyone jest at calling you Mrs. Iron man. The training is grueling and you had to put up with it, and him not being home. You deserve the title!!
That's just hot.
i'm not sure who to bow down to more- you or him. you sure he's got all his marbles intact? that's just crazy!gooooo naylor's!
I'm glad you were there to take the pictures. I hope you had some refreshing ice cream or sugar-laden drink as you watched all those crazy fitness people run by.
They are all insane...Yay Tom!
That is just so cool. I think you definitely get to carry part of that title around with you. Heck, I may even do it myself!
We were up in Santa Rosa too for the vineman Ironman. My good friend was doing it. She is amazing and kind of crazy. We came up to Santa Rosa on the Sunday after she completed it. Wow, is all I can say, and yes you are mrs. Ironman since you were probably waiting around all day and going to different check out points to see him. That is so impressive that he came in 8th for his age, seriously what an accomplishment. Too bad we didnt' run in to you.
can you be mrs. ironman if you don't actually break a sweat?that is phenomenally impressive. i need a nap after reading about it.
oh yeah, you can definitely be Mrs. Ironman - you supported him all year~! we missed you, but your phone calls were perfectly timed!
Way to go Tom!!!! Just call me the girl who knows an ironman and that's enough for me! ;)
Way to go Tom! Watching him get increasingly more into triathlons is very inspiring. I can only hope to be that fit at his age. I personally believe that triathlons are a partnership between the athlete and their supporting spouses. So Diane aka: Mrs. Ironman it is good to have you blogging again.
Way Cool Pics! Thanks for sharing. I think you should come to Kona!
You got yourself a hottie! You can definately call yourself Mrs Ironman because you have to endure all the muscle aches and blister popping.
NO WAY. I've never actually known anyone who's done that thing. It blows my mind.
