What Not To Wear/Women's Conference Edition

This post was inspired by Alison who has done some fabulous public service with her What Not To Wear at Disneyland and on a cruise posts. She thought it was too snarky to do a WNTW/WC.
I am snarky.
I took away a few golden nuggets from Women's Conference. Life lessons really.
1. Never wear a golden leather jacket.
She thinks she's a movie star wearing her sunglasses indoors.
2. There was a plethora of Mom jeans. These must be banned.3. Never wear a mu-mu
Please don't miss the plaid jumper with white hose.
4. Jumpers and hose should be against the law.
5. When your daughter is over the age of 8 please don't dress to match.
Daughter-cute
Mom-try again

6. My partner in crime posed to catch this beauty called floral gone wrong.
The lady under the Subway sign looks cute and I like her jacket.
I just feel it is my duty to inform my readers of all the important lessons that I learned at Women's Conference.
If you are related to any of these women, please buy them a cute new outfit.

But Diane....if I don't wear 'mom jeans' what will I wear??? I guess you'll just have to take me shopping! (I am SO jealous that you got to go to WC!!)

I must be snarky, too, because i think this post is hilarious! I think my favorite was the jumper with the hose and dark colored flats.. nice.

This was great reading!

I guess I am going to have to get rid of my golden leather jacket, now. Thank you for this helpful post.

This IS the reason to go anywhere! What better lessons could you learn? I am great at WNTW for everyone else, but I often look at my reflection in a window as I stroll jauntily past, and realize I'm fodder for someone else's WNTW post. If you ever see me, don't tell me.

I'm just waiting to see what the dress of the summer will be, brought to you by Down East Outfitter and the BYU clothing store.

i feel some odd sense of relief that you liked two different sets of earrings on me, my watch, my gray belted jacket, and my pink smocked shirt.

i have never felt so eyeballed in all my life. well, maybe back in the day at the clubs, but that was more for my firm, tight butt than my outfit.

Ahhh...the memories. What about all the bad hair? Please tell me that's mext.

We're going straight to hell.

And a special thanks to "miss gold leather jacket". She ended things perfectly for us.

Ok, that was my grandma in the plaid jumper with the white hose and I am highly offended right now!!

Oh how I wish I could get you to shop for my mom. She wears the mommiest mom jeans and her shoes are even worse (black reeboks). No matter what I say to her she won't do anything ("I'm too fat. I don't want to buy clothes.").

If she had made it to WC, you would have had a picture of her for sure. She wears capris with socks and sneakers.

I love my mom but she needs to spend some money on clothes.

I'm so going to get major payback when Laura is older and starts criticizing me.

so funny. I like this conference edition.

Seriously. I wish I had a dollar for every pair of mom jeans I saw at WC. I'd be a RICH, RICH woman.

I like snarky. Keep it up.

Dang, Allison and I took a picture of some fabulous hair for this post! I forgot to email it to you.

You are good with a camera!

You are FABULOUS! This post cracked me up. I'm always proposing "What not to wear" segments in my travels. In my mind at least. The Vatican had some great material. I'm going to put it into actuality. He he.
