What Not To Hair/ Women's Conference Edition

Sis was such a trooper to "pose" for all these fabulous photo ops.
If you are over the age of 10 avoid putting flowers in your hair.
There were way too many floral hair accessory offenders at WC. Doris Day was there. Bad haircolor, worse hairstyle. Pink Jacket lady
Whoops, I got caught. Still, the hair is unforgiveable.
She needs to lose the curling iron. Plus the bangs are killing me.

I kinda dig the mohawk guy though.

She may possibly have just escaped polygamy.
If so the hair is forgivable.
Click on this one to get a glimpse at the hardware holding that thing together.
She has more hardware in there than I do in my knee.
She will never make it through airport security.
With all the time and energy she puts into this hair don't she could create a hair do.
Think of all the weight she would lose with a haircut.

This one is my personal favorite.
The clip and short hair up do is a masterpiece.

I took away many important lessons from Women's Conference.
Again, if you know or are related to one of these women, please have a hair intervention ASAP.

I'm starting to think I'm glad that I missed WC. I could have been your 'what not to....' poster child!!

Oh man I am sure that lady is post polygamy. Where do these people get the idea this looks good? I am loving these posts! Who knew there were so many clueless people right there on the BYU campus! I love it

it is a little sad the LDS women as a whole don't have a better grasp on style. therefore, i propose the next general relief society meeting feature tim gunn or isaac mizrahi as keynote speakers, yes?

The hair accessories were my personal favorites. Who uses banana clips anymore? Oh wait...there were quite a few women there with them. And the flowers??? Don't even get me started on that one.

hey, i'm not 100% sure there isn't some sort of way to look cute with the flowers, I mean, people with curly hair could pull it off - maybe a smaller one? i've been considering it

I would have gone crazy picking apart everyone's hair! I can't help it!! I love Annemarie in all the pictures!

You mean you were sitting behind me and my banana clip the whole time and you never said hello? For shame.

What not to hair. You kill me.

I am dying with laughter at this one, too. Great investigative work, Diane.

I so love that Annemarie helped you to get these shots...and that pink coat lady totally turned around...

The last time I saw that much hardware in somebody's hair it was while watching the summer Olympics...I mean a gymnast is probably the only person that needs that many clips.

Ah, behold the Women of Zion.

I need your help.

First: I need your son's address. He sounds awfully close to my abode.

Second: I need a recommendation for some cute casual shoes for my mom. She has to wear orthotics (or whatever those shoe inserts are called) and so she claims she can't find anything cute that will still hold her foot thing in place. I figure you are the woman to prover her wrong.

Bad hair in Utah? NO!

We need a lunch date SOON. Next week?

So the chick in the top picture, left corner, I think I know her and I don't know how to tell her about her hair coloring?
Poor Annemarie, she probably thought she had to dress to perfection and look her best so that no flaws were showing in all her modeling. You need to pay that woman for all her hard work!
Mormons can be so embarrassing.

my saddest cross to bear in this life is that banana clips went out of style.

i mean honestly, there is not an easier thing to do to your hair. and it doesn't break the hairs like bands do.
seriously, i think i'm going to start a movement to bring back the banana clip. i would wear it all the time if i could. i don't now only because i have this psycho friend who takes pictures of fashion failures.

I bet Paige is so loving these posts.

And I've worn a flower in my hair twice in the last few months in the back, in a bun, it was small...am I lame now?

I am DYING! I love that you did this on your blog. I can't believe the hardware hair and the gold leather jacket. Wow.

The lady with the flower might have lacked style, but she had confidence. She obviously thought about her 'do and went to some effort to find and insert the daisy. She hoped it would be cute. It makes me wonder how many of my "cute touches" are responsible for a little nudge and chuckle. I guess if I bring a smile to someone's life, it doesn't matter how I did it!

I knew I liked you for a reason. Are you sure you're not from the East?

Okay, so I have to admit, I look at your blog all the time. You don't know me, but you know my sister Shelly Sanchez...I love all of your "fashion advice", I lived in San Diego for 17 years, then moved to Arizona, and feel very out of the fashion loop, thank you for your humor and keeping me up to date!!! BTW, your shoes are AWESOME, Shelly looks so cute in them!!!!
