Missionary Monday

Chicken toss anyone? "We had zone conference yesterday and it was really good. The theme is miracle may. We're supposed to ask our families to pray for miracles in our mission during may. So hopefully we'll see a lot of miracles. Oh and we got to watch a part of Hoosiers at zone conference. Our mission President loves basketball. We made Hoosiers into a modern day parable so that was pretty cool. Most of the missionaries hadn't even seen it before."
I hope they get their miracles because Elder Jordy needs some quality people to teach. I'm shocked that there are people out there who have never seen Hoosiers. It's a classic in our family, but then my kids have seen every sport themed movie.

i'm scared of the chicken. i'm scared of all chickens, actually. it's those creepy beady eyes. the whole missonary miracle stuff is lost on me because i'm scarred at the sight of the chicken.

I like to pretend like chickens don't really exist except for from the grocery store and that picture is not helping! I hope they see their miracles..

I hadn't seen Hoosiers until I went out with Dan. It was our second date and he asked to hold my hand half way through it.

Who knew high school basketball could be so romantic?

He isn't supposed to be picking up chicks on his mission...har, har, har *snort*...

My husband LOVES sports themed movies so now we have seen them all as a family, too. (His favorite is Rudy)
