Life Lived Horizontally

I'm supposed to be on my way to Miami. I had appointments scheduled for two spa days. Sadly, I have new health issues and I am too weak to travel. I thought I was having tachycardia but my Dr said that my heart is not beating too fast it is beating too hard. I feel ok until I try to stand or walk. I'm having more tests on Monday. You are invited to my pity party. Please bring refreshments.

Oh, I'm so sorry. That stinks! Sounds like a local spa day and some good chocolate is in order?

Health concerns are never good. And they are even worst when they infer with life, especially fun trips like to Miami. Sorry! I hope your Dr. can help you.

Thanks for inviting me to the pity party! I am wearing bright yellow to cheer you up and I have the funniest story to tell you! I brought super chocolate fudge bundt cake and big box of Dr Pepper.

Dang, girl! You NEED a spa vacay!

Do you prefer chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream?

Scratch that...I'll bring both!

diane,
when we have these challenging moments, it is often both healing and cathartic to step outside our own selves and see what we can do for others.
you have my mailing address. send me the ticket to miami and call the spa to change the reservations to my name. i am happy to help you heal.

You know Andrea can not be left alone to herself, especially in a strange town. I generously volunteer to accompany/chaperone her.

I am making fudge brownies with marshmallow and a fudge frosting. (I am bringing Diet Pepsi to null the calories for the brownines). It'll take me about 8 hours to get there. Keep the porch light on.
I'll cook for you and I'll bring my friend Pam, she'll clean.

Keep us in touch---I hate your disease of the week.

I am so sorry Diane!!! My husband is off to Miami tomorrow...leaving me with my four small children for five days. We can have a pity party together. ...not to imply that my situation is as worthy of pity as yours. I'll be thinking of you and sending love vibes.
