911

  • Instead of checking into a luxury resort on Wednesday, I checked into the hospital.

  • Instead of a limo ride to a hotel, I got an ambulance ride to the hospital.

  • Instead of spa treatments, I had tests and more tests.

  • Instead of a dinner cruise on a yacht, I had unidentifiable meals.

  • Instead of shopping for unique souveniers, I got needle tracks and plastic bracelets.

Wednesday night I collapsed at the dinner table. According to Brynn, I slumped over in my chair, started shaking all over and had crazy eyes. My Mom is here visiting and she said my eyes rolled back in my head. I was unconcious for about 10 minutes. When I came to my lips were blue and I was gasping for air. All I remember is that I didn't feel well. I asked Brynn to help me to the recliner and then I was out. The next thing I remember, my neighbors are there propping me up. The paramedics arrived and gave me oxygen blah, blah, blah. I got straight A's on all of my tests. The results were all normal, whatever that means. Same old problems, new medicine. I was released to go home today. The first thing I did was take a shower.I feel like a new woman. I'm so happy we didn't have a camera at the hospital as it was not one of my finest style moments. I was a hot mess. I'm so happy to be home.

Oh Diane - that does not sound as fun as what you had originally planned for! Are you okay?

Is your cute mom still here? I love yo Mama!

Lucky you! An ambulance ride! You don't get to do that everyday you know! Did you get some cute pictures of white nursing shoes for Shoesday?

I am glad you are home safe and sound in your own bed with your yummy shower products (I bet you have yummy smelling soaps and lotions - I would bet my house on it!). I was worried about you.

I know I'm with everyone else with my prayers going your way. Give your mom a big hug ... just for being there! Nothing beats "mom" when you're feeling icky!

I hope you start feeling better soon! I'll be thinking about you and praying for you.

Diane, I am so sorry.
I've been keeping you in my prayers. Having no answer to unidentifiable problems must be so annoying and frustrating!!!

But hey... I've always wanted to have an ambulance ride. At least you got to do that! j/k

Hopefully it was just a fluke.

I am so glad that you are back home safe and sound! But I wish they'd figure this thing out so you could go back to normal. Say hello to your mom for me and give her a hug..post a pic of her, too, I haven't seen her in WAY too long!

If you didn't want to go on your luxury resort trip you could have just said so.

Okay, sorry...all joking aside, I am so glad you are home again...and got straight A's on your tests...

I am so sorry that they have no idea what caused it. You have been on my mind!

Well Done! Strait "A"s.

Actually, I hope everything settles down and you can get some answers and get things resolved. That sounds scary to me!

Oh, Diane. That's awful! I am so sorry. Although you have a very funny way of relaying a not so funny story, I must say.
