Fashion Friday

Today we will launch a winter fashion formula.
My uniform in the winter is a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans.
long sleeve t-shirt + jeans + loafers = frump
long sleeve t-shirt + jacket + jeans + loafers = cute
It is amazing how the simple addition of a blazer, boyfriend jacket or whatever you want to call it takes the mom uniform up a notch.
Roll up the sleeves...
add jewelry and you will get the respect you deserve.
This military inspired jacket always commands respect.

At ease.

Oooh, I love it! What a simple, put together look. Keep 'em coming, sister. I just may outgrow the frump yet.

I'm really liking these looks and I'm liking what you're doing with your hair. I've decided to grow mine out. Somedays I just want a ponytail.

Going Christmas shopping today (last minute!) and now I know what to wear. I think I have the entire ensemble for #2. Hope I get good customer service.

I'd say you've got the perfect combination! Yep, the jacket takes it up a notch, beautiful!

I love jackets! All of mine don't fit anymore though ;) I need some smaller ones.

Alright . . . so please tell me how to be fashionable AND not have heat stroke at the same time? The only time I truly need a jacket is when I go to school once a week and sit in the air conditioned classrooms for 4 hours. Other than that, jacket use is hardly ever needed here. Maybe if I buy a cute jacket it will convince my husband we need to move to a climate that is more jacket friendly????

P.S. I may or may not have two hoodies and one ugly jacket to choose from. I got rid of all my jackets years ago. O.K. but let's be completely honest . . . the only jackets I had before were either my plus size stuff that I wouldn't fit into anymore anyway or the jackets/blazers that Heather handed down to me after she had worn them for 5+ years.
