Fashion Friday

Yesterday I had two parties. Time to pull out yet another party cardi... which I paired with an embellished tee. The t-shirt has a built in bib necklace. Be still my heart. Add my favorite boots and skinnies and it is a fool proof casual party ensemble.
Close up of the cardi corsage.
Confidence is your best accessory and when you have a fool proof outfit you can stop worrying and enjoy yourself.
I know these posts are shallow but fashion is a great distraction. When you look good, you feel better both physically and emotionally. Plus I'd rather talk about my cute outfit than my crappy health issues any day. A cardi-gan is way more fun than a cardi-ologist.
Party on.

Nothing shallow about it. I agree with you on the confidence issue. Clothes affect everything we do, positively and negatively.
It is very much appreciated and interesting reading.

However, I am jealous that you are wearing t-shirts; we are having 0 degree weather and snowstorms!

What's wrong with shallow now and then? Are we not supposed to look good while we're out serving the people in our lives? I say don't stop. Otherwise I won't know what to wear.

LOVE that cardis corsage.

I love the cardi corsage! I want a T-shirt with some of those corsage flowers. You look fantastic.

You are very clever, too. I love the the play on words of preferring a cardi-gan as opposed to a cardi-ologist. I believe I agree. ;)

Robin and Annemarie are right you are a giver and so very service oriented...I need your help.

If this is shallow, i like shallow! of course, i also like to watch and talk about tv, celebrities, etc, which are probably in the "actual shallow" category :)
why do I have so much trouble finding cardigans - I don't even have one that i like (maybe because I almost exclusively shop at marshalls?)

I love your fashion posts. I swear I am going to print all your pics and take them to the mall with me!

You are a party animal! Do you know what I hate though... when you wear really cute boots to the party and then you have to take your shoes off in the house. The outfit is shot. Don't know why I shared that, but anyway... :)

Looking cute is what turns a blah day into a great one. I want to look cute everyday. It makes me happy. Keep up the fashion posts- I love them! You are the cutest ever.

I always figure if I spend some time so I look good, I can spend the rest of the time thinking about other people. If I don't look good I spend the whole time thinking about myself. I don't think fashion is shallow. I think it's part of self-worth. I love your style, btw.

Will you come and be my personal clothes picker-outer?

I haven't tried to pull off the jeans tucked in the boots yet. I'll try it!
