The girls looked adorable in their colorful ensembles.
However, they weren't feeling the hope on wall street today.
Michelle Obama rocked this lemongrass suit dress by Isabel Toledo.
This cheery color was used to invoke hope. However, they weren't feeling the hope on wall street today.
How fabulous are her gloves from J. Crew?!
Evan wore a white tie for the wedding. Because he's got it going on with style.
Maybe he'll be President some day.
Woot woot to Jason Wu for the gorgeous ballgown.
I personally love all the bling.
Did you catch the shoulder length diamond earrings?!
Our first lady has an understated elegance with a modern twist.
She could singularly save the fashion industry.
Here's to four years of fashion trends.
Wasn't it lovely of our country to celebrate the newlyweds
one month anniversary with a parade and a ball.

Yes, I am digging the new WH style. I was a little worried based on the dress from election night (I'm still undecided about that one), but yesterday was a home run for the whole family.
Love that they went with J. Crew!
Yup. I agree. Here's to EIGHT years of fashion trends! Hee!
(I love that she did JCrew gloves and Jimmy Choo shoes!)
Yes, indeed...Happy one month Anniversary to tne Newlyweds!! The country is so excited for them ☺.
i think you're just using the inaugural events to show off more pictures of the gorgeous bride and groom.
well executed.
The girls coats were especially designed for them by the experts at J Crew...their website shut down yesterday from so many people trying to buy coats like that (that aren't even available for purchase...hee hee)
The First Lady looked amazing!
Hey...if Evan ever became President that would be our "in" to an Inaugural Ball!!!!
This shows how clearly OUT OF fashion sense I am. I didn't like either of the outfits Michelle Obama wore. I thought her the girls' outfits were too cute. Loved the bright colors. I thought Barack looked fantastic. Michelle is so beautiful, but the dresses were a bit ... ummm, icky to me. See, what do I know???
No need to worry, I'm sure Target will come out with those coats any day now.
For a brief moment, the nation lived a fairytale.
I loved the Obama girl's outfits! Adorable! Loved the color Michelle Obama wore too!
Gorgeous couple! Ryan wore a white tie to our wedding almost 8 years ago. My mom wasn't sure about it, but I am so happy we went with it. I like the white tie look.
congrats to the newlyweds! one month down- forever to go!
and i love you fashion recap. i'd say mrs. first lady is fierce!
Finally some fashion in the White House! It's been a while!
I'm still on the fence about the yellow suit dress. BUT... it was done by a cuban designer. So she'll score some points with me on that one. The girls were my favorite. They are adorable.
Totally!
I loved that yellow jacket!
I LOVE those little girl coats.
Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere colder so I could dress my kids like that...then I go to the beach in January and I'm over it!
Love the first lady's fashion sense, but I love her example of a stay-at-home mom better! It is just what this nation needs!
Fantastic is all I can say about Yesterday. Great re-cap Diane!
The girls looked adorable and I LOVED that lemon grass color on her. Here is to a President's wife who can actually wear any color and not have to worry about looking washed out.
Loved the gloves and her ball gown...to die for.
Yeah, the Obamas are a good looking bunch. They all looked beautiful.
I did think the Obama daughters looked adorable. And Michelle's dress was okay, but I didn't think that the gloves quite matched the outfit....maybe it's just me. I will be the first to admit I am NOT a fashion expert!
I thought the gloves looked Grinchy.
Forget the politics...the fashion is so fun to watch!
