More Dress Drama

This one fits perfectly but it needs sleeves. I'm wearing a t-shirt underneath.
This one is totally modest and comfortable. It doesn't photograph well.

This one is a bit short and there is the whole tank top issue...finding one that works with the dress.

This is how it looks when it's been pressed.
This one is on it's way. My Sis said it's a little Amish. I hope it is retro cool.
Basically, I've got nothing.
The dark grey and black one from last week is too scandalous.
The search continues.

I love the first one!!

I like the first one too. Maybe you could put some facing in instead of having to construct sleeves?

You look amazing in all of them but I agree with the others I like the first one. The sparkle seems so you! I am no seamstress and have no advice for sleeves. GOOD LUCK with your continued search!

Still going with the first.

I love the first one. Any way to remedy it?

(I'm REALLY sorry about the scandalous grey and black one...I was looking forward to it!)

i like the first one as well. if this makes any sense- that shade of silver works well on you. but i'm really intrigued by the 2 that are on their way. i like the amish one. i was thinking more like modernized kimono, which is very swanky.

keep the pictures coming. this is so much fun!

I really like the first one you cant even tell that you are wearing a shirt under it. You look really good in that one and it photographs well....

How funny - not to follow the crowd butn I am all about number one dress as well! Super cute!!

I think the first one is the cutest, but a little too low cut...unless you use a little glitter there...I'm just saying.

I'm voting for the one that you say is too short, but doesn't look like it.

I like the first one and I really like the Amish one, too...of course, I am kind of frumpy so...don't listen to me...

Love love LOVE that first one. Even with the t-shirt. Can you have someone line the sleeves? As for the bottom one, I have a beautiful sequined silver tank that I got at Express last season. I'm sure you can find a silver sparkly one. It's just so hard to compete with that first dress!

Absolutely the first one.

So fierce.

I do like the first one but I really like the one that you think is too short. But it doesn't look too short at all. It looks great on you. and c'mon you know you can pull it off!

LOVE the first one! You just have to make it work and then "work it" girl!

Number one! Way cute.

I really like the first one. Can you fix the sleeves somehow or wear a t-shirt with tighter sleeves? I like the 3rd one too, except (if it were me) I would be afraid of spills! Also, it looks like it would wrinkle, and I hate the lap wrinkle basically across the crotch.

Did I not tell you the first one would be perfect on you? You have to try and make the sleeves work...I know you can. "Make it work Diane!"

You are so gorgeous! I like the "too short" one...and I don't think it is too short.

LOVE the first one. Love it. can you get the sleeves tightened up? No on the amish. The other two are fine but you rock in the first.

I like the too short one also but it ain't too short.

The first one is gorgeous! End your search there, my friend :) I'm sure a tailor could give you some ideas for the sleeves.

Calibosmom stole my "make it work" Tim Gunn line. But that's what I get for waiting until night to read your blog!

The first one is beautiful but I also like #3.

Love the first one. And if these are for your sons wedding you don't want to have to worry about it being to short so no on the too short one. I am with Paige I bet you can make the sleeves somehow work on the first one???

love #1 -- it can be figured out. The sparkles are all you.

The first one is awesome! Really cute! Maybe you can make it work?

I am also interested in the Amish one...it could be retro in a good way!

I like the wrap dress, but I think you need one that will show off your awesome waist line and lengthen your torso. I think the 1st one does that, but I am not sure about the shiny-ness off it. The Amish one looks cute on the dummy, but the thing I have found about these retro ones are they do nothing for the figure. Have you thought about doing separates????
