Is There A Doctor In The House?

I'm suffering from post traumatic mission call stress. I've been puking my guts out...and no I'm not pregnant! Not even an option anymore. It's my ulcer. It doesn't matter what I eat, I'm pretty much on a carb only diet. Dr Pepper is my new best friend. I don't usually drink soda, maybe once a year, but the Dr helps my nausea and migraines. I like it flat and watered down and I can only drink about four ounces. On to my next ailment, mouth virus, canker sores, swollen gums and cheek. It hurts to eat and talk. This is the cocktail remedy...equal parts liquid Benedryl for swelling, liquid Maalox, coats, and Hurricaine, numbs. One teaspoon each is good. I couldn't find Hurricaine so I've been using Cepacol, two squirts. You mix the stuff together and swish and spit. It helps. So if you need me you can find me hunched over my puke bowl. It's ok because the Dr makes house calls.

yikes, sounds like no fun! I get canker sores about once or twice a month and they suck. Geez, can't you get some xanax or valium for that post trumatic mission call stress?

First, Yuck! This sounds awful. I'm hoping that you'll feel better in time for blogapalooza.

Second, what amazing concoctions. You're probably really an alchemist at heart...

You really should post a pic of your med cabinet/cupboard...it's like a pharmacy, then post pics of the 7-11 pantry. I'm so sorry you're feeling pukey...I think we know who to blame for that...hee hee!

Wow, not fun. I hope your ailments subside soon.
I only drink soda when I have migraines during pregnancy, so I'm grateful for it for about 5 weeks every other year.

By the way, the cream cheese with the lemon curd sounds delicious. I hadn't thought of that one.

We know canker sore pain here. Rembrandt makes a good toothpaste to help. Sodium Laurel Sulfate is in almost ALL toothpaste, and actually makes canker sores worse! Rembrandt for canker sores (CVS at Pomerado and Poway) helps when you get them and helps prevent. L-Lysine helps too. You can call me if you want to ask more about it. We feel your pain! Hope all is better soon.
