The Wrong Side of The Tracks

These are my tracks..."they're tryin to make me go to rehab, I just say no, no, no." I promise I'm not a druggy and the only rehab I've been in is physical therapy. This is what happened to me when I got an IV push of Boniva this week. This was the second attempt. My veins stink! After my Humpty-Dumpty episode in July I had to do something to help my fragile bones. Of course I'm allergic to the oral meds, so this is my alternative. I'll look like this every three months. If you notice, don't try to make me go to rehab!

Oh you poor thing! Once upon a time in college when I had no money I donated plasma to earn a little extra dough. Well the last time I went they didn't so well at sticking the needle in and during the process of my blood or plasma or red blood cells (I don't understand the process...) going back in, instead of just staying in my veins it went into my body and the whole area by my elbow blew up all big and got super warm and I minorly freaked out and it wa awful!! It was the hugest bruise for like 2 weeks, if not longer. Needless to say, I didn't go back. I gave in and told my mom about it and she forbade me from doing it ever again. Ick.

See, now you are turning into Amy Winehouse because of all the attention she got this week.

I gave up giving blood a long time ago. I got tired of the needles going in and then poking around to find a vein.

Hang in there!
