Shab to Fab

You've been asking where I get my clothes so I will do a few posts to break it down. pink tank-downeast outfitters
grey tee-the loft
white cardi-old navy
jeans-Gap
flats-Coach Nordstrom
skinny pink belt-urban outfitters
earrings-brass plum Nordstrom
bracelet-savvygirl

Nothing is new. Most of it was purchased this past year except for the bracelet and belt which are from the archives. It really is about the concept. You can find these items at any price point.
Give it a try. Link back so I can see how you interpret this formula.

Totally agree, it's all about the mix and match. And fashion can be had at any price tag. That's why I think there is no excuse for bad fashion anymore.

Sadly I usually know exactly where your pieces came from because I was probably just there. You rock the coach shoes. And I can't believe you just had a skinny pink belt in the archives! Fabu. Love all the basics.

I love how you call your closet, "the archives."

I love the belt and the shoes so much. DARLING.

I have never even worn my matching pink top.
I keep telling myself I really don't NEED Coach shoes like that, but sadly, I think I do...

I will have to get a cardigan or two some time and then report back then ;)

I totally love your posts. I told my husband yesterday I really really do need to go buy some clothes. Several years ago when I lost the first round of weight/inches, I got rid of all my Layne Bryant clothes. Everything that was left in my wardrobe was from high school or early 90s college days so I threw it out. Unfortunately, I haven't done a very good job of replacing clothing. So I have my Lucky Jeans or my Lucky Jeans . . . and couple of tops. Or I have all my workout attire. I really need to go shopping.

Cardigans are my BEST friend. I have at least one in almost every color.

In honor of you I wore jeans, cute tweed flats, a grey embellised tee, and a hot pink cardi on Friday. I was pretty cute.

I swear I was just at Old Navy looking for cardigans and didn't see any! I love all the outfits, but this one is my favorite - I don't think I'm brave enough to wear a cardigan with a belt over it. If I ever find one and a cute belt I'll come over and you can tell me it looks good :)
