Your comments about my last post were so fabulous they require a post of their own.

I could send you a couple of my kids if you want. They are fairly low maintenance and pretty good company. Thanks Liz. I am currently accepting applications. Even better if they can cook and drive.

You better come up with something fabulous to do when she's gone. I've been learning from your example for years now. Kim, it's time for you to find a new role model because I may find myself in a psyche ward next year.

I'll be there to virtually hold your hand and supply you an endless line of magazines and books. Remind me again why you had to move? I need a new matinee buddy.

Maybe you could take up online gambling? This actually sounds intriguing. I could fund my other hobby...shopping. Mama needs a new pair of shoes.

Time certainly flies by way too quickly! Such beautiful sweet girls. Did you have to rub it in Katie? Just for that you have to bring the boys over so I can see in person how big they are now.

Write a book. I think you have a lot of thoughtful insight to share. You are the thoughtful one. I have nothing but nonsense to share. This blog is all the junk in my head. Writing a book is too much like work. You know my famous writer friend Merrilee. Sometimes she writes about me. I think she keeps me around for good material.

As for empty nest happening-my children love visiting other homes and I have no problems leaving them for extended periods of time. Heather, as previously mentioned, I am accepting applications. Brynn would love to have some younger siblings. We could share custody.

I'm just hoping college brings her my way...Sis, I'm willing to work out a trade.

repression and denial. that's what i suggest you take up. Why didn't I think of that? I'm better at depression. I will try the Scarlett O'hara approach to life. Fiddle-dee-dee. I'll think about that tomorrow.

...make glass beads...I may have mentioned that I am craft impaired. Really, the stuff I have made can only be called crap. I tried making jewelry a few years back with my daughter. I have a bag filled with the hideous stuff I created. Bad. I can't even make cute stuff with beads I have purchased. But thanks for the idea. If I make a bunch of money with my new online gambling skills maybe I can buy some new beautiful jewelry.

knitting? Brigitta, I am not a h00ker. My ya-yas are always telling me to crochet bandages for lepers and hats for newborns. Umm, no thanks. Not even a leper or an under privileged child would want to wear my sorry creations.
p.s. Bermuda was so absolutely wonderful and beautiful and just perfect. We actually stayed at the fairmont in Southhampton (same place you were at) Loved all the beaches. Ok, travel is on the list for sure. Bermuda is a little slice of heaven.

HEEELLLOOO! Be a personal shoe shopper! Duh?! Robin, you state the obvious. My services are free people, you will have to buy your own shoes. Just tell me your style preference and heel height and I will send you links to find your perfect shoes.
Thanks for all of your input. I actually looked up some free online class options and the only thing that interested me is a class on The Book of Revelations. I panicked at the thought of actually signing up for this class because if I fail does that mean I am going to hell. Something to consider. There is a pretty good chance of that happening already and I don't want to secure my spot.

Ooooooh. Now I'm sad! Stupid getting a job thing. I miss our matinees. Esp. since Sammy will be in school in a couple of years and I could rejoin you full time!
I think I remember some of the jewelry you and Brynn made...Heh. That made me chuckle.
you made me laugh out loud. i say just stick to blogging. no one does it better :)
hee hee
I keep meaning to come over!!!!! One of these days I promise! How are your morning hours? My boys nap in the early afternoon....
You just might be the funniest person I know..."I'm not a hooker"...classic!
I loved all of your responses. You are so funny, "Mama needs a new pair of shoes...and that you aren't a, "hooker".
You look great as an ancient egyptian.
Even I have been feeling sad about Marissa leaving, I can only imagine how you must feel. When I moved into the ward Brynn was Jacob's age, how can it go by so fast? Seeing you, Tauna and the girls crying in the hall on Sunday just killed me. I don't like change, I don't like end to an era!
I can't even imagine only having one more year of full-nest mommyhood-but I will tell you that your children ALWAYS need you. Don't you have a married son? Could grandchildren be in your future?
queen of denial. aren't you witty.
tawnya is laughing at you, so i know the jewelry must've been bad.
please post pictures.
I WISH one of my birds would fly out of the nest! I like him more when I'm worrying about him SOMEWHERE else. (I'm such a great parent aren't I?)
