These are the newly-weds. Isn't Jenni's new haircut smokin hot? I got to attend church with Jenni and Evan. I have never attended a newly-wed ward.
Here are some of my observations.
There is a whole lot of cuddling going on in the pews.
It is uncomfortable to watch mostly because the guys all look like missionaries without name tags. It seems like all these missionaries are breaking the rules as they drape themselves on the girls who are their wives. AWKWARD. There is a lot of hand holding and back rubbing. The girls all have sparkly new rings. The boys all have big smiles.
There were only 4 people over 40 at church. Me, the Bishop, the Bishop's wife and A High Council member.
There were 3 babies so the meeting was very quiet. Not at all like our noisy family ward.
There were a lot of baby bumps.
Here is the car seat parking...

Are you pulling my leg? Is there really such a thing as a "newly wed" ward?! Do they kick you out after you've been married for what, 5 years?! I'm in awe...
We moved right into a family ward, but oh how we cuddled! I couldn't wait to get home from church! Is that TMI?
Blech. I don't think I could stand all that cuddling. Don't they know once you get married you don't do that anymore?
I think we did the married student ward for the first few months, but I hated it. Oh, the torture...
our very first ward was newlywed/nearly dead. i loved the nearly dead ones, but the newlywed ones made me want to scratch my eyeballs out. some young wives can be so very judgmental...
The baby equipment parking is my favorite.
Back scratching in church at ANY stage of marriage...eww.
we freak people out because we are newlyweds with five kids in a family ward. so we're all over each other, and people who don't know are really confused by it all. i like to think of it as inspiriational to the rest of the ward. i'm pretty sure that's how they see it too...
I'm not sure I could help myself from laughing at all the newlywed PDA but I'm sure it was adorable!
Your DIL haircut it way cute!! They look so happy!
Love the pictures of the carseat and stroller parking. You don't see that kind of thing often...even in a family ward.
I love the color of the walls in the background of the first picture. That must be Annemarie's house.
I hear the pressure to get pregnant in those newlywed wards is huge... let me know when we will be calling you grandma.
How cute young love is!!!
Yes, her haircut is very cute.
That would be such a great place for people watching. Everyone would hate me because I woudl be the one staring at each couple. I would find it very amusing.
I can not wait for stroller parking at my house!!!!!
