Elder Jordan had the opportunity to return to Kuna for a baptism.
He didn't accept it because he didn't want to go to "freakin Idaho."
That plus the fact that BYU I doesn't have any teams was more than my boy could fathom.
I kind of love the fact that he is in the "freakin Idaho" mission.
He loves it there. He feels well. It is a good place for a boy with allergies and asthma.
The people in Idaho are good and kind and he appreciates how they take such good care of their missionaries. Thank you Boise Idaho. I freakin love you.

yeah, freakin idaho is growing on this bostonian as well. which is no small feat.
not that i'll be devastated when we leave, mind you.
note to self: feed missionaries more to live up to diane's image.
That is too funny! I guess the Lord really worked to get him to go to Idaho, first with the promise of money and then by ORDER. Makes you wonder what he's supposed to do/find there. Hmmm ....
Freakin' Idaho ROCKS!!! If he does decide to ever come to BYU-I tell him that he can eat at our house anytime. My hubby makes a mean Sunday steak and potatoes dinner!
I was in Boise this weekend and sure wish that I could have made a blog mafia delivery. I spend lots of time in Boise over the summer and Ilene and I will have to make some cookies! (Probably the ones with coffee in them!!!)
And I am so glad for you that you have a driver. Take advantage. And take care.
He may still have a point. Boise is SO MUCH different than Rexburg. Rexburg....shudder.
(though...it does figure he's there. Idaho has a way of sticking it to you. I SWORE I wouldn't marry anyone from Idaho. HA!)
I used to have a lot of "i'm never doing blah, blah".. I'm trying to steer clear of that now, because it always seems to come back to you :) I'm glad he is liking Idaho anyway!
It's freakin funny how things turn out isn't it!?!
Life is rich with freakin' irony.
That is so great that he is there...what a perfect place if you have asthma and allergies. Unlike Freakin' Georgia.
I give him less than 6 months before he moves back there after his mission.
(Rexburg area)
My brother in law went to Boise, Idaho. He cried when he got his call, my sister thought he was joking when he told her where he was going. When the boys in the family all compare missions, they all wish they had gone to Boise, Idaho. Everyone loved the missionaries, fed them good food, and he baptized up a storm. Don't judge a mission until you go! I am sure Idaho loves Jordan as much as he loved Idaho.
Freakin' Idaho.
I said the same thing too.
A lesson to us all to watch what we say, right?
