I got a comment the other day from Connie. She invited me to visit her blog and said she had a surprise for me. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, not one but two pictures of my missionary boy.
The Idaho Boise Mission or IBM needs to be renamed the It's da Bomb Mission. Those people know how to take care of their missionaries and their mommas
When the Bodencatalogue first showed up last fall and I got my first glimpse of this jacket it sent my heart aflutter. At $148 seriously, not gonna happen. It's currently on sale for $99. What a bargain, whatever. So you can imagine how giddy I got upon finding this inspired by Boden jacket at Marshall's for $19.99. I love when that happens.
Two California boys experience snow. Elder Snow and Elder B. This is what happens when they can't go out on New Year's Eve. Missionaries are easily amused.
As far as I can remember this is the third pair of red boots I've owned in my life. In 48 years it's my first pair of cowboy boots. I don't know what took me so long. I kinda love them with skinny jeans tucked in.
I bought them for myself for Christmas and then I acted really surprised when I opened them.
Aren't they purty. They even have a little heel. Yee haw.
"New Years day we went to half price dairy queen with the Garners. A family from my old area came and picked us up. He's the one that makes toe juice. Also, they now have hogwash, to beat the swine flu . hand sanitizer i think. it cracks me up."
Toe Juice and Hog Wash could come in handy since missionary work involves a lot of walking and hand shaking.
