Missionary Monday

" Elder Boyes shoe. His right shoe has a lift on it because he got his leg caught in farm machinery when he was younger and now it's shorter than the other one. And he lost his quadriceps and almost died. He is a miracle child. " - Elder Jordan
And if it so be that you should labor all your days and bring but one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of our Father. How great shall be your joy.

I think this is why his life was spared.

In Search of Gold

He's at it again. Today Tom is running the St. George marathon. This is his 5th time running in the George, his 4th marathon for 2008 and his 6th since last October. Why does he do it? It's all about the medals.

Fashion Friday

So the Amish dress is a mini. If only I had my white patent leather go-go boots from the 60's. I could dance on Laugh-In.
This beaded number won't be going to the wedding, however, it will be going to Homecoming this weekend. One of Brynn's friends will be wearing it.
This one is currently up for consideration. It is sitting in my online shopping bag.
Alisa just did a post about this dress.
As is this one. Though the price tag is making me pause.
I think this one is too matronly. What do you think?
Why must it be so difficult?

Missionary...umm...Wednesday

This is Jordan's three generation picture.
The missionary on the far left is his Dad. He is training Jordan.
The one in the middle is Jordan's Grandpa. He trained the Dad.
What a good looking family.
